Albuquerque Cosper Head

Albuquerque Cosper Head, of Kingsport, Tennessee, dragged Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone out of police lines and into the mob during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, wrapping his arm around Fanone's neck while first saying "I'm going to get you out of here" before yelling "I got one!" to the crowd, which then beat Fanone unconscious and tased him repeatedly, causing him to suffer a heart attack. He was detained starting in April 2021 and pleaded guilty in May 2022 to assaulting a police officer, with other charges dismissed. U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson, calling him one of the "most serious offenders" in her Jan. 6 caseload, sentenced him on 10/27/2022 to 90 months in prison.
