Angela Reynolds

Angela Reynolds received and distributed methamphetamine in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as part of a larger drug conspiracy. Federal agents identified her as a suspect, obtained a warrant to search her home, and found two bags of methamphetamine inside. Reynolds subsequently cooperated with investigators and assisted in the arrest of other members of the conspiracy. She was charged alongside ten co-defendants and pleaded guilty to a conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance. At sentencing, Reynolds was held responsible for approximately 1.7 kilograms of pure methamphetamine: 44.75 grams of a methamphetamine mixture seized from her home, plus 1.701 kilograms she admitted to receiving from co-defendants. Her presentence report assigned a total offense level of 37 and criminal history category VI — the highest possible — reflecting multiple prior felony convictions, which also classified her as a career offender under the Sentencing Guidelines. The advisory guideline range was 360 months to life, capped at 360 to 480 months by the statutory 40-year maximum.
