Christopher Kuehne

Christopher Kuehne, 50, of Olathe, Kansas, a former Marine associated with the Kansas City chapter of the Proud Boys, conspired with other members to disrupt the electoral college count, arriving at the Capitol outfitted in a ballistic helmet and protective gloves prepared for confrontation; he ignored orders to leave after the Jan. 6, 2021 riot began, climbed a wall to reach the Upper West Terrace, entered through a Senate Wing door, and in the Crypt helped move a lectern to block officers from closing a metal door, allowing rioters to push further into the building. He pleaded guilty to a felony count of obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder, with conspiracy and other charges dismissed. He was sentenced on 2/23/2024 to 75 days of incarceration, 24 months of supervised release including 60 days of location monitoring, a $100 special assessment, and $2,000 in restitution.
