Jacob Lewis

Jacob Lewis, a Victorville, California gym owner, entered the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot and later told investigators he had been escorted inside by police and tried to blame the riot on "Antifa members in disguise," a claim federal agents found no evidence to support after reviewing video of his entry. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building, with other charges dismissed. U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper sentenced him on 4/14/2022 to 2 years of probation, a $3,000 fine, $500 in restitution, a $10 special assessment, and 60 hours of community service.
