Jennifer Leigh "Jenna" Ryan, a Texas real estate broker from the Denton area, flew on a private jet with a group of fellow Trump supporters to Washington, D.C. for the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, documenting her trip heavily on social media, including a video recorded in front of a bathroom mirror saying, "We're gonna go down and storm the Capitol," and a tweet afterward declaring she had "just stormed the Capital" and calling it "one of the best days of my life"; she later told the Washington Post she regretted her actions, saying, "I bought into a lie." She pleaded guilty to one charge, parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building, with other charges dismissed. She was sentenced on 11/4/2021 to 60 days of incarceration, a $10 special assessment, $500 in restitution, and a $1,000 fine.
