Kerry Wayne Persick

Kerry Wayne Persick, 41, of Trophy Club, Texas, attended the Jan. 6, 2021 "Stop the Steal" rally and marched with other protesters to the Capitol, entering through the Senate Wing door amid other rioters pouring through the broken Senate Wing windows during the riot that followed and recording the scene on his phone for about 18 minutes; he was identified after someone who had known him for roughly two decades reported him to the FBI. He pleaded guilty to one charge, parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building, with other charges dismissed. He was sentenced on 7/14/2022 to 36 months of probation with 90 days of home detention or location monitoring, a $5,000 fine, and $500 in restitution.
