Kevin Seefried

Kevin Seefried, of Delaware, carried a Confederate battle flag from home to the Jan. 6, 2021 riot and was photographed displaying it on a large flagpole as he walked through the U.S. Capitol with his son, Hunter Seefried, confronting and jabbing the flagpole at U.S. Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman near the Senate chamber; father and son were among the first rioters to breach the building, entering through a broken window and remaining inside for about 25 minutes. He pleaded not guilty to all charges; he was found guilty of felony obstruction of the certification of the 2020 presidential vote along with four related misdemeanors. He was sentenced to 36 months in prison.
