Kyle Travis Colton, of Citrus Heights, California, was identified after a Delta Airlines passenger seated next to him on a January 7, 2021 flight reported that he had bragged about being part of the "second wave" of rioters inside the U.S. Capitol the day before, a claim corroborated by CCTV footage showing him inside and outside the building among a group confronting law enforcement during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot; he was indicted on five charges on December 13, 2023.
