Leonard Pearson "Pearce" Ridge IV, 19, of Feasterville, Pennsylvania, joined the mob that overran police and breached the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot and posted at least five videos from inside, which enabled the FBI to identify him after a former classmate spotted the footage on Snapchat and alerted authorities; he wrote on social media the next day, "Yeah just stormed the US capital (sic) for the first time in US history and I was a part of it." He pleaded guilty to one charge, entering and remaining in a restricted building, with other charges, including obstruction of an official proceeding, dismissed, telling the judge at sentencing, "If I could do it over again, I would have never entered that building." He was sentenced on 1/4/2022 to 14 days of incarceration, 1 year of supervised release, 100 hours of community service, a $1,000 fine, $500 in restitution, and a $10 special assessment.
