Melanie Christine Belger

Melanie Christine Belger, of Tustin, California, traveled to the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, posting on Facebook, "I am at the Capitol doors been roped sprayed. Round 2 coming," and later, "Back at hotel! Was in the Capitol im safe.. Pence=NOT SAFE," and appeared alongside fellow defendant Michelle Estey in a YouTube video of the riot. She pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building, with other charges dismissed. She was sentenced on 2/26/2024 to 36 months of probation, a $4,000 fine, $500 in restitution, and 250 hours of community service.
