Rachael Lynn Pert

Rachael Lynn Pert, 40, an assistant manager at a Middleburg, Florida convenience store, entered the U.S. Capitol with her boyfriend, Dana Joe Winn, during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot while wearing a "Trump 2020" flag around her shoulders; she was identified after a coworker recognized her from an FBI flyer of Capitol intruders. She did not personally engage in violence or property destruction but, according to prosecutors, encouraged and celebrated the events as they unfolded, remarking as she left that "the patriots took" down the barricades. She pleaded guilty to one charge, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, with other charges dismissed. She was sentenced on 12/20/2021 to 24 months of probation, 100 hours of community service, a $25 special assessment, and $500 in restitution.
