Day 1 of term →
Convicted of
A man who had legally changed his name to "Rally Runner," known as an unofficial St. Louis Cardinals superfan for sprinting outside the team's stadium during games, wore a red "Keep America Great" hat and red face paint to the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, where he passed a ladder toward rioters at the Lower West Terrace Tunnel entrance, faced off with Capitol Police while holding a riot shield, and joined other shield-wielding rioters in forming a human wall to block officers from clearing the area; a guest on Tucker Carlson's show later baselessly claimed he was a government agent, which he denied in multiple interviews and social media posts confirming his participation. He pleaded guilty on 3/22/2024 to one charge, civil disorder, with other charges dismissed. He was sentenced on 8/15/2024 to 10 months of incarceration, 24 months of supervised release, a $100 special assessment, a $1,000 fine, and $2,000 in restitution.
