Richard Avirett, a Marine Corps veteran and firearms instructor from the Tampa, Florida area, was identified by investigators after a Facebook message he sent reading "I'm inside" and video showing him walking through the office of Idaho Sen. James Risch during the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol breach. He was arrested more than two years after the riot in connection with his presence at the Capitol.
