Steven Miles

Steven Miles, 40, a Proud Boys member from Florida who performs in gay adult films under the name "Sergeant Miles," left the rally with other Proud Boys before the speeches began and walked to the Capitol's West Front during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, where he shoved and attempted to punch an officer and used a wooden plank to break a door window, opening a breach point that a cascade of other rioters used to enter the building behind him. He pleaded guilty in October 2023 to a felony count of assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers, with other charges dismissed. U.S. District Judge Jia Cobb sentenced him on 2/9/2024 to 24 months of incarceration, 12 months of supervised release, a $100 special assessment, and $2,000 in restitution.
