Tanner Bryce Sells

Tanner Bryce Sells, 26, of Chandler, Oklahoma, traveled to Washington, D.C. with members of his church for the Jan. 6, 2021 rally and spent roughly five minutes inside the U.S. Capitol during the riot that followed, documented in videos he posted to Facebook; at sentencing, Judge Amy Berman Jackson criticized his apparent lack of remorse and imposed a sentence stiffer than most defendants who entered without vandalism or violence. He pleaded guilty to one charge, parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building. He was sentenced on 1/18/2022 to 90 days of home detention, 24 months of probation, a $10 special assessment, $500 in restitution, a $1,500 fine, and 50 hours of community service.
