Victoria Charity White

Victoria Charity White, 41, of Rochester, Minnesota, joined the mob converging on the Lower West Terrace of the U.S. Capitol after the Ellipse rally during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, arguing with rioters trying to break glass entrance doors before pushing toward the tunnel where Metropolitan Police officers held a line; she raised her fist and cheered as rioters forced a flagpole into the entryway, then helped hoist up another rioter who swung from the top of the entrance and kicked at officers below. She pleaded guilty to one charge, civil disorder and aiding and abetting, with other charges, including entering a restricted building and disorderly conduct, dismissed. U.S. District Judge John D. Bates sentenced her on 11/20/2023 to 8 days of incarceration served on weekends, 90 days of location monitoring, 24 months of probation, a $100 special assessment, and $2,000 in restitution.
